Preserve Square 25-Ounce Food Storage Container Review

This is pretty ugly

As a guy who brings his lunch to work I’m pretty familiar with Tupperware and food containers.

The picture above pretty much represents what I used to pack my lunch in and bring to work with me.

The problem with Tupperware is not just the fact that they aren’t aesthetically pleasing, but a lot of them are just too big and bulky.

Tupperware is great for storing food once you’re done making it, but it’s hard to find a food container that’s small and compact but yet big enough to fit 25oz of food for a quick lunch.

That was the case until now check this out.

25 Ounce Apple Green Food Container

This is the Preserve Square 25 ounce food container. It’s pretty interesting actually.

The company was founded by Eric Hudson who was studying recycling systems. At the time in the 1990’s when Eric was studying recycling systems he noticed a missing link.

More consumers consumers were recycling, but few manufactures were putting recycled materials to good use. In 1996, to address this gap, Eric founded Preserve.

Eric dedicated his new venture to using Earth’s resource more efficiently and responsibly, and transform recycled material into products that were functional, well designed and fun to use.

The company started with everyday products like toothbrushes and Tupperware food containers.

BPA stands for bisphenol A. BPA has been used to make plastics that store food and beverages such as water bottles and food containers.

Some research has shown that BPA can seep into food or beverages from containers that are made with BPA. Exposure to BPA is a concern because of possible health effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children.
